FreightCircle Platform Agreement

By using FreightCircle you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Platform Purpose

FreightCircle is a networking platform that connects freight professionals — carriers, brokers, and dispatchers — to help each other haul more and deadhead less. FreightCircle facilitates introductions between parties but does not broker, dispatch, or guarantee any freight transaction.

2. Identity Verification Disclaimer

FreightCircle performs a basic check to confirm that an FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) operating authority number exists. This check only verifies that the number is on file with FMCSA — it does not confirm that any individual person actually works at, owns, or is authorized to act on behalf of that company.

You are solely responsible for verifying the identity and credentials of anyone you interact with through this platform.

3. Assumption of Risk

You understand and agree that:

•You assume all risk when engaging with other users on FreightCircle.

•FreightCircle cannot verify employment status, trustworthiness, criminal history, or financial standing of any user.

•Any freight transaction, load exchange, or business arrangement made through connections on this platform is entirely between the involved parties.

4. Fraud Awareness

Freight fraud is a real and growing problem. You are responsible for vetting anyone you work with. Before entrusting a load, payment, or sensitive business information to another party:

•Look up the company phone number from a trusted source (FMCSA SAFER, the company's official website, or a state registry) — not just the number they gave you.

•Call the company directly and ask for the person by name.

•Meet in a public place for first-time handoffs when practical.

•Report suspicious activity to FreightCircle and to the appropriate authorities immediately.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreightCircle, its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, claim, or expense arising from:

•User-to-user interactions, transactions, or disputes

•Fraudulent activity by any user

•Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by users or third-party data sources (including FMCSA)

•Service interruptions or data loss

FreightCircle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

6. Agreement Updates

This agreement may be updated from time to time. When the agreement version changes, you will be asked to review and accept the new terms before continuing to use the platform. Continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
